Beautiful hiking trails lead to the High Castle with a beautiful view of Bad Grönenbach

The High Castle is the landmark of the Central Swabian Kneipp spa town of Bad Grönenbach in the Unterallgäu district. It stands on a steep mountain spur on the western edge of the town on a conglomerate rock. The High Castle in Bad Grönenbach is on the list of monuments of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation.A tour of the castle is not possible or only possible on occasional guided tours.A district educational garden was created in front of the castle (right). The district educational garden provides inspiration for your own garden, a place to learn about gardening and beekeeping. With a great view over Bad Grönenbach and the neighboring communities, it is a great place to relax. A small circular path leads around the castle and leads either directly to the center of Bad Grönenbach or to the nearby Kneipp facilities and the Active Park.
