In order to meet the needs of the citizens with the measures on the Mangfall, the WWA (Water Management Office) Rosenheim has offered to cooperate where possible. In the town of Kolbermoor, such so-called “idea workshops” resulted in the drafts for today’s design of the flood protection in the town area. For the purpose of accessibility to the Mangfall, the sheet piling has repeatedly open sections, which are only closed by the use of mobile elements in the event of flooding, numerous tree bastions and seating along the entire length.
