The Torre di Fine pumping plant was built in 1925 and entered into operation in 1926, for the mechanical drainage, together with the Termine plant (1922), of the Ongaro Inferiore 1° basin, of Ha 12,200, lifting the water delivered by the 3° Collector into the Largon/Revedoli canal, a choice that in recent years has been fundamental to "lighten" the flow introduced into the Brian high water canal.
After the flood of 1966, the drainage capacity of the basin was increased with the construction of the Valle Tagli pumping plant (1970), which allowed the achievement of a total flow rate of 59,000 l/s (59 m³/s).
The construction of the plant represented a typical example of the difficulties encountered in the muddy soils of the reclamation, to give the plants the stability required by the machinery.

Built in 1925 and put into operation the following year, it is cited as an expressive example of "industrial archaeology" even if, following the work to adapt the machinery with the electrification of 1980, it continues to play a fundamental role in hydraulic protection of the reclamation area
