Located in Southern Corsica, to the west of the Isle of Beauty, between the Gulf of Porto and Cargèse, a few kilometers from Piana, Capo Rosso is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The summit, which rises 331 m above the sea, is topped by the Genoese tower of Turghiu, built in 1608, is present at the top of Capo Rosso. It was guarded for a long time by the Greeks of Cargèse.
