The hiking meeting point of Tambach-Dietharz is located on the old waterwheel, from there the hiker can explore the surroundings of Tambach-Dietharz and the Thuringian Forest on 200 km of marked hiking trails. In winter you can get to know the forests and the Rennsteig on over 20 km of groomed trails. A hike or bike ride can also be made from here to the 96 m high climbing rock Falkenstein, he is the highest free-standing climbing rock in Thuringia.
