Obere Alpe is worth a stop for cheese bread and buttermilk (mostly homemade). It's strategically sandwiched between the Untere Auenfelder Alpe (also good) and the Auenfelder Hütte, both of which do more marketing. Very cute rabbits and unusual chickens roam free in the yard.
