Today I walked the route to the Kobolten. I found the signage and route routing to be inadequate. I was disappointed with the Kobolt and I can hardly understand why the route is advertised and suggested as an alternative to the Kjerag. The route is in poor condition. Therefore, be sure to wear hiking shoes. I think it is too difficult for children under 10 years old. Ascent approx. 1.5 hours. The views are beautiful, but you can hear the titanium mining plant in the background for quite a long time. I cannot recommend the route to Kobolten. Greetings G from O

Hi, we did the tour on June 24th, 2024, and I consider myself an experienced hiker. But whoever created this tour as easy should seriously consider whether people with children would go up there. But they definitely won't manage that, there are places that are more than a meter high that have to be overcome by climbing. So be careful for people who are not so fit, think carefully, in my opinion the tour is classified as difficult. Best wishes Gerold

Yes, it's muddy and impassable, but still dramatic high above the fjord, and the view of the glacier-carved peaks is truly 😊 amazing. Non-slip and, if possible, waterproof shoes 👟 are a must.
