The nature reserve Veltrubský luh with an area of approx. 99 ha is located between the municipality of Veltrub and the right bank of the Elbe in the district of Kolín. The floodplain forest consisting of mainly deciduous trees, wetlands, floodplains and ponds has been preserved, and you will also find the largest pond on the Elbe meadows here.
