    Hiking

Heading towards the tower of Collserola and Tibidabo, you will pass by the Museum, in a very beautiful mansion of ancient dates due to its construction and location. If you continue a few meters further you also have the possibility of consulting anything about Collserola, as there is the Park Information office.

The Museum is an example of a Catalan rural house, located in Collserola, which preserves personal belongings of the great poet Jacint Verdaguer (1845-1902). You can learn about the recent history of Catalonia and Barcelona.

Villa Joana was one of the most important farmhouses in Vallvidrera. Documented since the 16th century, it was acquired in the 19th century by the Miralles family, who completely renovated it and gave it a residential character and the name of Villa Joana with which it is known. . In May 1902, Ramón Miralles welcomed the poet Jacinto Verdaguer when the doctors recommended mountain airs to alleviate the effects of his advanced tuberculosis. Verdaguer died in this house on June 10 of that same year.
