In his colorful herb garden, Michel Schneider from the Kräuteralpe shows that many plants can still thrive at an altitude of 1,300 m if you know them well and know what they need to grow. Most of his herbs come to the highest schnapps distillery in the Allgäu right next door. The range of regional spirits, health and other products is correspondingly diverse. Opposite is the Hörmoos mountain inn with places to stop and stay overnight.

Great Albgasthaus. Delicious food. Also overnight possible.
The Hochhäderich and Hochmoorgebiet is one of the most beautiful high valleys I know. Many hiking trails and MTB possibilities.
A trip there is worthwhile.
