Simply a wonderful landscape! The fen is of national importance and the streams are constantly changing their course.

Segnesböden
Even if you regularly walk on the upper or lower Segnesboden, you will see a different view every time. The streams on the two plateaus are constantly changing their course. New lakes are created and then disappear again. Parts of the lower Segnesboden are also designated as a flat moor and a moorland of national importance. The original mountain valley north of the Segneshütte was filled with the rubble brought by the mountain streams. This is how the extremely valuable natural landscape was created.
The Segnesböden can be reached from Flims or Laax via Naraus, Grauberg or Alp Nagens (Nagens shuttle from Laax). We recommend visiting the World Heritage Pavilion at the Segneshütte.
