In principle there would be a bay behind every corner. Simply inviting.

About 8 kilometers from the center of Cadaqués. To get there, you must follow the signs at the entrance to Cadaqués towards Cap de Creus and park in Pla de Tudela. The rest of the way is done on foot, offering a walk through the spectacular landscape of Cap de Creus, where you can admire the rock formations that inspired Salvador Dalí.

The cove is small, approximately 15 meters long, and is made up of rocks and pebbles. It is generally not very busy, making it an ideal place to enjoy a quiet environment. In addition, it is a beach where nudism is allowed.

Cala Culip has an interesting history. In ancient times, it was known by the Phoenicians and Greeks, since it was one of the few coves in the area where you could anchor. However, its orientation towards the north made it vulnerable to the Tramuntana, which resulted in many shipwrecks. For this reason, it is a place recognized by the remains of Phoenician, Greek and Roman ships.

In the second half of the 20th century, Club Med built more than 400 bungalows in the area, but over time, and thanks to environmental protection policies, these buildings were demolished, and now the area is a protected environment. Today, you can visit Cala Culip and enjoy its pristine nature and crystal clear waters, which are ideal for snorkeling.

A visit to Cala Culip offers a unique experience, with stunning views and the opportunity to explore a place of historical and natural importance.
