The old seagrass spinning mill in Nürtingen is a listed industrial ensemble. The site at Plochinger Straße 14 has housed three "establishments" of exceptional importance since 1872: the Schmid'sche Seegrass- and Rosshaarspinnerei with furniture factory, the Alex Linder office furniture factory and, since 1991, the Freies Kinderhaus e.V. sponsoring association seegrasspinnerei. en/the-project/
The old industrial buildings are worth seeing. And there is also a "canteen" with a nice outdoor area.

Since 1872, the site has housed three “establishments” of extraordinary importance: the Schmid seagrass and horsehair spinning mill with a furniture factory, the Alex Linder office furniture factory and, since 1991, the supporting association Freies Kinderhaus e.V.
