The reservoir with a large dam lies like a blue pearl in the landscape.
The reservoir is so big that you can't even walk around it. The farm roads get closer to the Albufeira reservoir and they go up and down and in large and small curves, just like the slopes of the hills.
Mediterranean flora: pines, cypresses, eucalyptus and olive trees, among others, grow on the slopes. Rodedendrones in pink and white colors were almost the only touch of color. Thistle dominated along the trail.
