gently rolling, quite busy but still very popular with cyclists as well (for a Helsinki/Porvoo round trip, this is traditionally the preferred route when heading west), okay asphalt, starting from Porvoo keep your eyes open in the first roundabout so you don’t end up in shopping hell by accident, short bike path in Hinthaara not really worth the trouble

new asphalt throughout! (only this segment, the road onward to Nikkilä could certainly use some as well...)

there is now even a painted shoulder that may look wide enough to ride but don’t be tempted, the lanes are far too narrow for safe overtaking so you’ll just invite a lot of close calls, much better to ride 0.5–1.0 m to the left of the line as usual
