Fels Castle (Luxembourgish: Buerg Fiels) is located in the municipality of Fels in Luxembourg. It was probably built in the 12th century. Today only a fraction of the castle buildings have been preserved and restored for visitors.

Archaeological investigations date the Fels Castle, documented in 1176, to the first half of the 12th century. Defensive reasons were decisive for the choice of the building site. The construction as a spur system secured by steep cliffs points to the defensive intentions of the builder. In addition to the aspect of defence, economic and territorial-political reasons for the construction there probably also played a role. There are many indications that in the early Middle Ages there was a regional riverside road (Luxembourg-Diekirch) in the Ernz Valley and also the crossing point of another local road connection (Mersch-Echternach), as well as the economic use of the small river for fishing and milling.
