Even for non-churchgoers, the church is worth a visit from the outside and possibly from the inside. There was a funeral service on the day of our visit, so we couldn't go inside. A walk through the cemetery is also exciting. A look at the tombstones reveals that about 100 years ago, a great many people died within a very short time and in some cases very young. What happened there?

Hiking

Very beautiful Evangelical Lutheran wooden church from the 19th century. It is a listed building and is a historical and culturally significant church in Norway. It is located on the edge of Nordfjordeit's old town, at the end of the Eidsgata shopping street. It can also be visited from the inside, although it is not open every day. A large old cemetery is adjacent.
