The Obschutz Laurentiuskirche is located on a small hill on the edge of the village. It is a Romanesque choir tower church from the 12th century. The Gothic east choir was added around 1500 and the church was rebuilt into its current form in the early 18th century. Special features of the church are the medieval gargoyles with animal and human heads, the Romanesque door with iron-clad door leaf and the richly decorated sacrament niche. In 1631, during the Thirty Years' War, the church was looted by Tilly's troops.
