Part of the Bay Cycle Route. Well worth a visit and has the added advantage of several railway stations close to the route to enable a return to your start point or shorten the route in the event of fatigue or weather.

Lost of places to drop off along the route for refreshments and some beautiful scenery.

The Bridge is fine for cyclist but it can be tricky in the wet. You can get a bike with panniers across. It’s part of several routes including the Bay Cycle Way route 700.

Well worth the 200m of gravel, cuts out a couple miles of busy single carriage way on route to to silverdale and Arnside from morecambe way.
