Kyllburg train station is on the route of the Eifelbahn between the St. Thomas and Bitburg-Erdorf train stations. Similar to the stations in Erdorf, Philippsheim, Speicher and Auw an der Kyll, the entrance building of the Kyllburg train station has a larger concourse with outbuildings. The Kyllburg station was a seven-axle, two-storey building made of unplastered red sandstone masonry and window and door frames with timberwork, with a relatively steep, developed slate roof. As was often the case in the 19th century, the eastern eaves side in the roof area is interrupted by a slightly protruding, gabled risalit.

Old train station and new modern platform meet here. Nice that both were implemented side by side.
As was often the case in the 19th century, the eastern eaves side of the roof area is interrupted by a slightly protruding, gabled risalit.Several changes after 1944, such as the removal of the cast-iron protective eastern canopy, the insensitive addition of a storey to the formerly single-storey, low northern building and a toilet wing attached to the east side have significantly affected the building.
The station master's house has remained relatively unchanged, similar to the station with two floors and a gable.
The toilet house, originally located between the station and the station master's house, was destroyed by bombs.
