The area, consisting of eleven sub-areas, extends south of the core town of Blankenheim and the Blankenheim district of Nonnenbach. Not far to the east are the Blankenheim districts of Hüngersdorf and Ripsdorf. The B 258 runs along the eastern edge and the Ahr flows.
