After the large neo-Gothic church from 1907 was completely destroyed in the fierce battles at the front in 1944-45, a new church was built in 1953. Looking at the parish church from the outside, one immediately recognizes the influence of Italian architecture: first of all there is the campanile, the free-standing bell tower, and the many small arched windows of the facade and the tower, as well as at the main entrance the large arcades with the small arcades above (a construction that reminds us of the ancient structures of the Roman aqueducts).
