On the “Weryweg” hiking trail between Schloßborn and the Billtalhöhe near Königstein, in the “Untere Ödung” area, you will find the “Bertaborn”, a small, natural stone spring of an unnamed stream. The story goes that when a name was being considered after the spring was completed at the end of the 1970s, one of those involved jokingly said: “We’ll name it after my mother-in-law.” And her name was Berta.
