Tunnel built under the railway for cyclists in 2016 to create good continuous safe cycling routes between North and South Ede. Named after the SOMA College (Foundation for the Training of Operators of Contractor Companies), which stood on the south side for many years. (now a new housing estate) Operators were trained here for years who could practice on site with large machines.
