The Edese forest is one of the oldest forests in the Ede area. The forest consists of 2 parts, Edese forest east and Edese forest west. There are off-leash areas in both parts and the Edese forest west borders the Ederheide, which is also an off-leash area.

In the forest there are clearly signs indicating where dogs are allowed off leash and where they must be leashed again. You can also view the off-leash areas on the map. Edese forest east is called the Kreelseweg and Edese forest west is called Doolhoflaan, click here to download the map with marked off-leash areas.

Parking is available at Pannenkoekenboerderij Kernhem.

You can also eat and drink something here after the walk.

Nice forest on both sides of Apeldoornseweg. To the east it tranisitions nicely into heather. West and North you will end up in private/agricultural land.
