The barn was built in 1669. Burned down in 1905. The barn was later rebuilt, but with a slightly different look.
When a comprehensive renovation began in 2013, it was decided to restore the barn to its original appearance, which was built according to Schleswig-Holstein building habits. Hence the name Die Holsteinscheune. The original masonry has been preserved.
