The Reichenow Church is a towerless, early Gothic fieldstone building with a short nave and a retracted, just closed chancel. It once had a small tower, which is depicted on a church seal from 1779. It was renewed in 1694, but fell victim to a storm in 1753. As a replacement, a belfry was placed in the attic in 1784, in which three late medieval bells originally hung. Today there is one with a diameter of 101 cm (inscription: "osana o rex glorie Christe veni cum pace") from the 15th century and a second with a diameter of 71 cm from the 15th/16th centuries. century available. The third (51 cm diameter) was delivered in World War II. In order to complete the triple ring, a new bell was cast for Reichenow in the Lauchhammer art foundry in 1996.

The two lancet windows on the east choir gable and the south portal are from the time the church was built. Parts of the roof truss consist of secondary pine wood. They could be dendrochronologically dated to 1438/39 and were probably installed in the summer of 1439. Likewise, two oak poles in the back of the altar block, which probably supported an altar, could be dendrochronologically dated to 1486.

On the south side of the nave is the original ogival door. The truncated, ogival door on the west side is walled up and can also be dated to the time of construction. In 1865, during a renovation, the side windows were enlarged.
