The ice cave on the Hundalm is the only freely accessible ice cave in North Tyrol. As part of a guided hike, you can explore the unique cave with its ice walls and stalactites. It goes on narrow paths, stairs and wooden jetties through the cave.

For a visit, you need warm clothes in the summer, because in the cave frosty temperatures prevail.

In May, June and September, the cave is open on weekends from 10am to 4pm. From July to August you can even explore the cave daily. Adults pay 6 euros and children 3 euros admission.

In 2019 the price is € 8 per adult, but they are all worth it. Especially we had a private tour for two! Highly recommended and informative.
