For those who have time and desire, once you reach Mantua you can take an interesting itinerary around Lake Mezzo, passing close to the Rocca Sparafucile and the camper parking area. Staying on the path at the edge of the lake in cold periods, it can happen to meet numerous groups of turtles that live undisturbed on the branches that emerge from the lake. On one occasion I counted at least fifteen, all together. I have seen them on various occasions, in December, February and April. Not in June.
