The Catholic Church of St. Christophorus in Himmelkron is a motorway church on the A9 and a branch church of the parish of St. Otto in Bad Berneck for the parish of Himmelkron and the parishes of Lanzendorf and Gössenreuth.
The foundation stone of the church, which is subject to the patron saint of Christopher, the patron saint of travellers, was laid on April 21, 1996, and the church was consecrated on June 28, 1998 by auxiliary bishop Werner Radspieler.
