A beautiful, quiet pond in the middle of the forest - ideal for a break. On the bench you can listen to the "watermelody" with your eyes closed.

The dam is located on the path from Schleicher to Zwieslerwaldhaus and dams the Schleicherbach stream about four kilometers north of Lindberg. It was built around 1795 by timber merchant Jakob Schaller. This allowed firewood to be floated to Schaller's hometown of Viechtach. The Schleicherschwelle was last redesigned in 2007. The water surface area is approximately 840 square meters.
