Opposite one of the stone signposts at an intersection, a rest area with a bench, chair (and trash can) invites you to take a rest. Immediately next to it I discovered an old, large pine tree, by which you can still see the tree resin extraction! The surface of the bark used is also called pool or pool.
Mainly turpentine oil was made from the pine resin. The "Ringelah" is a very beautiful 43 hectare state forest with very well developed bike and hiking trails.
This forest is even listed in the "Natural Forest Reserves in Germany" database!
In this forest area you can find more (stone) signposts!
