The monument was erected in the summer of 1952 - the consecration took place on August 28, 1952. 16 names were missing at the consecration because not everyone was able to make their financial contribution. These names were only added in 1961 at the instigation of the community.
Restorations: 1974 and 2004 by the Comradeship Association
The monument is located directly on the main square of Krumau am Kamp under shady trees and invites you to linger.
