Tips

  • Mosmas

This beautiful section of the Werseradweg is consistently designed as a pure cycling and hiking trail and completely crossing-free. Again and again, it offers a view of the river Werse, but also in the charming cultural landscape in the area. You cross the floodplain forest of the Stiftskotten with a typical alder quarry forest and some wetland biotopes. At the northern end is the Pleister mill with its pretty half-timbered building.

Fantastically beautiful forest path with many cozy and almost enchanted places to linger - luckily little frequented despite the optimal bicycle driving weather

The route is easy to drive with a view of the Werse from time to time ... only in the drought it is extremely dusty

For canoeing there are better rivers. The Werse has virtually no current. The great scenery along the Werse can also be enjoyed from the bike.
