The chapel was demolished in the late 18th century, but the gate with the covered scallop and tower survived and stand as a vestige in the park. The gate of the chapel, a fragment of the original 13th century monastery building, bears the pilgrim badge and symbol of fertility, the scallop shell as a roofing element.

The former monastery (NL: "Klooster") St. Elisabeth with a beautiful garden is worth seeing.
