The Egregy Church is one of three surviving churches from the Árpád period in the Balaton region. Its floor plan goes back to old forms of timber architecture. The three-story tower has twin or triple windows on each floor and is topped with a distinctive pointed dome supported by eight wooden beams. The vault of the tower was renewed in the 18th century and is joined by a square nave. Painted decorations and sgraffitos have been preserved on the outer facade.
