The town of Rurberg lies at the interface between the Rursee and Obersee. Just outside the village, you have to cross the Paulushofdamm, hikers / cyclists can take a boat tour on the Obersee. Either as a complete round trip, or to the Einruhr ship docks and the Urft dam.
