This memorial commemorates the werewolf murders that were committed by 20 Hitler Youths under the leadership of SS officer Kurt Rahäuser on young forced laborers in April 1945.
3 murders happened here near Hägelberg, 5 more in the Elbenschwander forest. A memorial stone was also erected there in November 2015; the events and the names of the murdered have now been largely reconstructed, in contrast to the stone laying here in 1996.

End of the war: Here three forced construction workers were killed in 1945. Remains of the started battle shelter and the memorial stone can be visited.
