Recht is the westernmost town in the municipality of St. Vith. In the center of the village is the church of Sankt Adelgund, which was built in 1925 but has elements from the late 15th century. The quarry stone bell tower with its onion-shaped spire was dated 1771.

The St. Aldegundis Parish Church was built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The nave of the formerly Gothic church was expanded in the Baroque style in 1753. In 1925, the old nave was removed, and a new nave with a choir was built perpendicular to the old axis. The tower walls and the old choir (now a side chapel) are remnants of the Gothic structure. The Baroque spire and the porches to the right and left of the tower are remnants of the Baroque nave. Of particular note are the beautifully crafted 20th-century windows, characterized by clear lines and expressive painting. Among the works on display are depictions of the Mother of God and St. Aldegundis, as well as the coats of arms of the Reiffenberg and Rolshausen families. The patron saint of the church is St. Aldegundis, who was born in France around 630 and founded the monastery of Maubeuge. She is particularly venerated in northern France, Belgium, and along the Rhine, and is invoked as an intercessor in cases of illness, especially cancer. The 15-stop organ was built in 1997 at the Thomas organ workshop in Stavelot (Belgium).
Also noteworthy are the stone surrounds of the church's entrance portal and the arched doorway of the nearby rectory. Source: ostbelgien.eu/de/fiche/virtualtour/die-st-aldegundis-pfarrkirche
