In the past, Fort Sint-Philips on the right bank served as a landfill. As a result, the soil was very polluted. After 2 years of work, it is now a green zone of 20 hectares. Picnic benches and a new bike path ensure that everyone can enjoy the new nature reserve.

Road cycling
Very good and undulating asphalt road where the 19th century Fort Sint-Philips used to be. The fort has been encapsulated together with polluted soil from the port of Antwerp, so that today only the contours of the fort can still be seen on the basis of the new cycling and walking path.
