The mighty Weißeck (2,711 meters) rises above the Riedingsee (2,169 meters), where the hiker looks out over the flower-filled rear Riedingtal. Where the Schlierersee is today, there was once a high moor, the "Ei'g'hagte Moos und Winterweg" was the name of the connection from Zederhaus, because this is where sledges loaded with hay or wood once pulled the path.
