The summit of the Mosermandl can be reached via the south ridge or via the Westweg (from the Franz Fischer Hut via the Windischscharte ridge). Westweg: Once you've passed the scree cone at the foot of the Mosermandel summit massif, you reach a chimney (similar to a via ferrata with a difficulty of A/B), approximately 70 m high, which is very well secured with wire ropes. This leads almost directly to the summit. The chimney doesn't require any special stamina or arm strength, and climbing it is a lot of fun.
