The Grande Plage is the largest and most famous beach in the Chausey Islands. Its fine, white sand opens onto a vast, turquoise lagoon, offering new perspectives with every step. At low tide, the area stretches impressively, while at high tide, many sandbanks disappear beneath the waves – a striking example of Europe's largest tidal range, where water level differences of up to 14 meters can occur. From the beach, magnificent views of the sea and the surrounding small islands, rocks, and boats underscore the wild beauty of this unique landscape.
