This was certainly a pretty lake not so long ago (even if in the middle of intensely cultivated fields). Unfortunately, the water level has now sunk massively - it's a sad sight. Estimated (2021) almost two meters!

If you want to see the consequences of climate change in Brandenburg and decades of incorrect environmental policy, you've come to the right place. Somehow a piece of history ... The shore has enlarged so much that you can see the mussels that once lay on the lake bed everywhere. However, garbage that was hidden in the once deep water of the lake for decades also comes to light.
