Immediately after starting at the Lengenfeld unterm Stein train station, the ride on the trolley goes over the 244 m long and 23 m high Lengenfeld viaduct. This was definitely the highlight of this trip for us. This unique monument is an engineering masterpiece of the 19th century.

The railway viaduct of the former Kanonenbahn above the town of Lengenfeld offers an impressive view. The last journey of the Kanonenbahn took place in Thuringia in 1996.
