I walked along the beach for hours until I decided to head back inland to get some shelter from the freshening wind.
It became green and idyllic and suddenly time seemed to stand still.
Killarney Village, an old thriving 19th century fishing village in its full bloom appeared out of nowhere.
The National Trust has made it its mission to lovingly and expertly restore this authentic fishing village, preserving its original character and giving visitors the opportunity to experience a real place without turning it into something else.
