The Collina dei Ciliegi is a city park in Milan, located in viale Sarca, in the Bicocca area. It is an artificial hill 25 meters high, obtained from the excavation debris of the Pirelli restructuring. The conical hill is "climbed" by a helical path and direct flights of stairs. About a quarter of the area has been planted with 820 trees and over 6000 shrubs. The trees, as the name of the park suggests, are primarily a collection of flowering cherry trees of different species and varieties. Worth a visit in the flowering period!
