The archive house in the Münchhausenhof on Ritterstrasse is an architectural gem. The property belonged to Colonel Hilmar von Münchhausen. In 1565 he had the small house built in the style of the Weser Renaissance in order to keep documents and files here. The preserved parts of the manor house and the converted farm building are also worth seeing.
