In 1897, forester Kaiser from Miele and pharmacist Guth built the Wildeck pond complex in the Rebberlah district, with the surrounding areas now the Wildeck pond estate.
During the forest fire disaster in 1975, Wildeck was in the middle of the fire area, but was able to be held in place with strong water barriers.
