The church, which dates from the 12th century, benefited from the renovation and building momentum of the 15th and 16th centuries. The building, which consisted of a paneled nave and a choir with a semicircular apse, was extended at the beginning of the 16th century with an aisle built in a style mixing the Gothic and Renaissance repertoires. The Patronage of Florimond Robertet, treasurer of France, at the beginning of the 16th century also affects the interior decor whose murals offer a rare representation of the Tale of the Three Dead and the Three Living. The subjects depicted may possibly be linked to an epidemic. The church has undergone few transformations since the 16th century, apart from the slate spire rebuilt in the 19th centurysource: monumentum
